  15.      The _gggg_eeee_nnnn_llll_iiii_mmmm_iiii_tttt_ssss command reads the formatted ASCII user limits directives
  16.      file and creates one of the following output formats:

  18.           +o   NIS master server map (_----_mmmm option)
  19.  
  20.           +o   Local data base for Network Information Service (NIS) or direct
  21.               (non-NIS) use (_----_llll option)
  22.  
  23.           +o   ASCII file suitable for processing by the NIS database creation
  24.               utilities (no option)

  26.      The _gggg_eeee_nnnn_llll_iiii_mmmm_iiii_tttt_ssss command accepts the following options:

  28.      _----_iiii _i_n_f_i_l_e           Identifies the location of the user limits directives
  29.                          file.  If you do not specify the _----_iiii option, the
  30.                          default file is /_e_t_c/_j_l_i_m_i_t_s._i_n.
  31.  
  32.      _----_llll                  Creates a local data base for Network Information
  33.                          Service (NIS) or direct (non-NIS) use.  When NIS is
  34.                          enabled, the local database contains local entries
  35.                          which override or supplement entries from the NIS
  36.                          server. When NIS is not enabled, the local database
  37.                          contains information to set limits on the system. By
  38.                          default, this database is in the /_e_t_c/_j_l_i_m_i_t_s._m file.
  39.                          The _----_LLLL option is the same except that you can use it
  40.                          to specify a different location for the database.
  41.                          You cannot use the _----_llll option with the _----_mmmm option.

  43.      _----_mmmm                  Creates the NIS master server map.  It generates and
  44.                          stores the map in the standard NIS map location.  You
  45.                          cannot override this location.  You cannot use the _----_mmmm
  46.                          option with the _----_llll option.

  48.      _----_LLLL _l_o_c_a_l__d_a_t_a_b_a_s_e   Creates a local data base for Network Information
  49.                          Service (NIS) or direct (non-NIS) use.  Same as the
  50.                          _----_llll option except that you can specify a different
  51.                          location for the database.

  53.      _----_NNNN _n_i_s_f_i_l_e          Specifies a different location for the NIS database
  54.                          source input file created when either the _----_llll or the
  55.                          _----_mmmm option is selected.  The default location is the
  56.                          /_e_t_c/_j_l_i_m_i_t_s file.  If you do not specify either the
  57.                          _----_llll or the _----_mmmm option, the _gggg_eeee_nnnn_llll_iiii_mmmm_iiii_tttt_ssss command creates a
  58.                          NIS input file but does not create a database.  NIS
  59.                          uses the  Unified Name Service interface (see nsd(1M)
